Description:
This 90 minute session is all about communicating and engaging with your students. You will act like a student by participating in a poll, discussion and submit a document as a student in a sample course. You will change hats to become a faculty member where you will have an opportunity to use the Speedgrader. Additionally, you will learn about the use of rubrics and outcomes in Canvas and how outcomes can be used to show student achievement of the course learning outcomes. We will discuss authentic assessments and how you can ensure students have mastered the learning outcomes by delivering original work. Bring your syllabus with you and at least one assignment you can use to discuss authentic assessment.
